No. It uses follow-up questions and step-by-step hints to lead you to think for yourself. Copying gets you nowhere here – that’s intentional.

Maths, German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Latin, biology, chemistry and physics are built in. If yours is missing, you can add it yourself; the tutor then works with your materials in just the same way.

Yes. Take a photo of the worksheet or upload a PDF. The tutor works from it instead of asking you what the topic is.

Yes. Every focus session leaves notes in your account that you can open again later or export as a PDF.

Any device with internet access will do, including your own phone. tutor.new runs in the browser and as an app for iPhone and Android.

No. Like people, AI models can make mistakes. Everything you work out together is in the notes and can be checked; if in doubt, ask at school.

The school version is hosted exclusively in Switzerland and the EU, in line with the GDPR; learning data is processed anonymously and not used to train AI models (privacy for schools). For the private product, the privacy policy sets out which service providers are involved and where.

With your teacher’s sign-in code: choose “School account” in the app and enter the code. You don’t need a private subscription for this.
